Midnight Man Half Iron Man
Triathlete Peter Chard represented the club in the Midnight man Half IronMan on Saturday night. The race takes place near the Dartford crossing based on closed roads, it kicks off at six PM and runs into the night (and the dark)!
The swim was a mass start of 150 Triathletes at six PM where they follow a 1900m route around a lake. Peter had a good swim in a time of 38:07 minutes and then a mad dash through T1 taking only 1:11 minutes. It was then out in the bike for a 56 mile TT.
Peter finished the time trial in a quick 2:32:29 hours and it was already starting to get dark. He then went through T2 in only 1:19 and then onto the final stage, the 13.1 mile half marathon.
He had a good steady paced run and completed it in 1:56:32 leaving him in 20th overall (out of 150 entrants) and 2nd in his age category! Peter’s final time was 5:09:41, a four minute PB for this distance!

Final round of the PMR series-28th July
The 28th of July saw the last of the series that PMR put on this month, 4 races in total on the q10/1 course in Hamstreet. It was wet and windy, probably the worst conditions out of the 4 they've had.
Niel took 2nd place with a 20:22, that left him him second in the final standings for the series. Ian Forrest also raced posting a time of 24:26.
Great results from all of the time trials!

Nate rode well and worked together with the other riders in the main group. He then sprinted for the line and finished in a fantastic 1st place! Great result!
